NZ Leads Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy

Effective and last updated: July 20, 2026
Document version: 2026-07-20

This Cookie and Tracking Technologies Policy (“Cookie Policy”) explains how NZ Leads Inc. uses cookies, local storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, session-replay tools, chat tools, and similar technologies on our websites and hosted business software.

This Cookie Policy is part of our Privacy Policy. It does not govern cookies placed independently on a third-party website or hosted payment page.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Local storage and similar browser storage can retain identifiers, preferences, or application state. Pixels, tags, and scripts can record that a page, email, or feature was viewed or used. Session-replay tools can recreate aspects of a user’s interaction with a website or application.

These technologies may be first party or third party, and may last only for a browser session or persist until expiration or deletion.

2. Categories we use

2.1 Strictly necessary

These technologies support functions reasonably necessary to provide a requested Service, such as:

  • authentication and maintaining a login session;
  • routing and network operation;
  • account, security, fraud, and abuse protection;
  • load balancing and service availability;
  • remembering application or security settings;
  • completing a checkout or Customer-requested transaction; and
  • preserving essential application state.

Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login, checkout, or core functions. Authentication information may persist for the configured login period, commonly up to 30 days, unless the user signs out or the session is revoked.

2.2 Preferences and functionality

These technologies remember choices such as display, theme, language, layout, selected business or source, filters, navigation state, dismissed notices, and support-widget state. Duration depends on the preference and may continue until changed, cleared, or expired.

2.3 Analytics and performance

We use analytics technologies to understand:

  • page and feature usage;
  • referral and campaign attribution;
  • navigation paths and interaction events;
  • browser, device, approximate region, and technical environment;
  • errors, latency, availability, and performance; and
  • aggregate adoption and product trends.

These technologies may assign a browser or device identifier and link activity to an authenticated account identifier so we can support the account, diagnose problems, measure feature use, and prevent fraud.

2.4 Session replay, diagnostics, and support

Session-replay and support technologies may collect:

  • clicks, scrolling, pointer movement, navigation, and page transitions;
  • page structure, visible interface state, field interactions, and error events;
  • browser, device, IP address, approximate location, and session identifiers;
  • support chats and widget interactions; and
  • an authenticated user’s internal account ID, business email, or display name.

Session-replay technology may load automatically on our websites and authenticated application. It may collect interaction metadata, rendered interface state, and content that is visible during a session. We use available technical safeguards for payment credentials and specifically designated sensitive elements, but users should not assume that every displayed value or interaction is masked. We use replay for debugging, support, security, usability, product analysis, product improvement, and investigating account or payment disputes. It supplements, but is not the primary record of, a purchase or billing consent.

Payment-card credentials are collected on payment-processor interfaces rather than stored in full by NZ Leads. Users should not place passwords, card security codes, government identifiers, medical data, or other unnecessary sensitive information into general fields, prompts, chats, or support forms.

2.5 Advertising and attribution

On public marketing pages, tags or pixels may help us measure a campaign or referral, understand whether a visitor later creates an account, limit or evaluate marketing, build aggregate audiences, or deliver and measure relevant business advertising where permitted.

Depending on jurisdiction, disclosure of an identifier or website activity to an analytics or advertising provider may be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. We do not use lead content, call content, recordings, transcripts, or End User Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2.6 Email technologies

Operational and marketing emails may contain pixels or tracked links indicating delivery, opening, device type, or link interaction. You can disable automatic image loading. Marketing recipients may unsubscribe using the message link or by contacting us.

3. Information collected

These technologies may collect:

  • IP address and approximate region;
  • browser, device, operating system, language, and time zone;
  • cookie, browser, session, device, advertising, or account identifiers;
  • referring and destination URLs;
  • page, click, scroll, navigation, and feature events;
  • timestamps, duration, errors, and performance;
  • campaign and attribution parameters;
  • account ID, business email, display name, and user role when authenticated; and
  • support, chat, and replay content described above.

We combine this information with account, security, support, and transaction information for the purposes in the Privacy Policy.

4. Purposes

We use these technologies to:

  • provide requested website and application functions;
  • authenticate users and protect accounts;
  • remember settings and process transactions;
  • monitor availability and diagnose defects;
  • provide support;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • measure and improve usability and performance;
  • understand business marketing and referral effectiveness;
  • comply with law and preserve relevant security or transaction evidence; and
  • maintain consent and preference records where applicable.

5. Third-party technologies

We use Service Providers for analytics and tag management; session replay and diagnostics; support and chat; cloud hosting, security, and performance; email and communications; advertising measurement and attribution; and payment and checkout.

A provider may receive the categories described here only for the applicable function. Some providers may act independently for limited purposes under their own privacy terms, such as network security or legal compliance.

Our provider mix and individual cookie names can change. Browser developer tools and storage settings can display cookies and local-storage items active for a page.

6. Choices and controls

Browser controls

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage, block third-party cookies, limit advertising identifiers, prevent automatic image loading, and use private-browsing or anti-tracking features.

Blocking a necessary cookie may prevent login or core functions. Blocking analytics, replay, or attribution should not prevent basic public-page access, although some support or personalization may be unavailable.

Website and application controls

Analytics, attribution, session-replay, diagnostics, and support-chat technologies may load automatically when a website or authenticated application page loads. We do not currently provide an in-product category-by-category tracking preference panel. Browser, device, network, and extension controls may block or limit these technologies, although doing so can affect support, attribution, or other functionality.

Necessary account, security, transaction, and application storage may begin when a page loads. Signing out clears the authenticated application’s local account storage. Other browser storage or provider cookies may remain until they expire or are cleared through browser controls.

Opt-out signals and Do Not Track

Browser Do Not Track signals do not have a uniform legal or technical standard, so websites may not respond consistently.

Opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), can be browser- and domain-specific. A signal does not necessarily stop operational, security, support, product-analytics, or session-replay technologies from loading. We do not Sell or Share Customer Data or End User Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Public-site analytics or attribution technologies may nevertheless be treated as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising in some jurisdictions even when no money changes hands. We evaluate legally recognized signals and verified requests as required by applicable law. You may contact us using the method below to exercise an applicable opt-out right or associate a request with other information.

Privacy requests

Email support@nzleads.com with the subject “Privacy Opt-Out” for an applicable opt-out or “Privacy Request” for another privacy right. We may verify the request as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Retention

Cookie and tracking data is retained according to configuration and purpose:

  • session technologies generally expire when the session ends;
  • authentication technologies may persist for the configured login period;
  • preferences may persist until changed or cleared;
  • analytics, attribution, diagnostic, and replay data is retained for a rolling period appropriate to analytics, support, security, and improvement; and
  • records linked to a security incident, transaction, complaint, consent choice, or legal claim may be retained longer.

We delete, aggregate, de-identify, or allow information to expire when no longer reasonably necessary, subject to backup and legal-hold requirements.

8. Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, providers, purposes, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
