Let AI write personalized welcome messages based on what each customer actually says. Set it up once, then every response is custom-written for that specific person.

How It Works

Instead of matching keywords, AI reads what each customer writes and creates a response just for them. It uses the instructions you give it to sound like you and include the right information about your business.

Configuration Settings

Answer Size

Choose how long you want AI responses to be:

• Short (30 words) - Quick, to-the-point responses
• Long (50 words) - Standard length with more detail
• Detailed (80 words) - Comprehensive responses with lots of info

Welcome Message Instructions

Tell AI about your business and how you want it to respond. This is the most important setting - be specific about:

• What your business does
• How long you’ve been in business
• Your minimum project fees
• How you want messages to start and end
• Your personality/tone

Example:

With 20 years in construction, we use top-quality materials and workmanship to achieve perfect results. We have a Minimum Project Fee of: $500. Begin your answer with 'Hey' followed by the customer's name. Conclude each message with: 'Best regards, Construction Team, (213) 111-1111.'

Services Not Providing

Tell AI what jobs to reject or redirect. When AI sees these types of requests, it will automatically prevent follow-ups since you don’t want these jobs anyway.

Example:

We do not take small jobs under $500, including minor repairs like fixing small areas of broken tiles (less than 10 sq ft), repairing leaky faucets, patching drywall holes, or installing light fixtures and similar minor tasks. For larger jobs or if unsure, mention the minimum and request a phone number to discuss further.

Pricing (Optional)

Include specific prices if you want AI to share them with customers. Only add prices you’re comfortable having customers see immediately.

Example:

Window Installation: $200 per window, Complete Home Construction: Subject to plan review, Comprehensive Home Renovations: Starting at $50 per square foot, ADU Garage Conversions: Evaluation required prior to quotation, Roof Installation: $4 to $20 per square foot, depending on materials.

Testing Your Setup

Use the “Test AI Assistant” button to see how it responds to different customer messages before going live. Try sending it:

• A pricing question
• An emergency request
• A general inquiry
• Something you don’t want to take on

Make sure the responses sound like you and include the right information.

Tips for Better AI Responses

Be Specific in Instructions

• Include your actual phone number
• Mention your business name

Test Different Scenarios

• Try various customer message types
• Make sure rejected services get handled properly
• Check that pricing information is accurate

Keep It Updated

• Update pricing when it changes
• Adjust services you’re not providing
• Refine instructions based on how customers respond

Perfect for:

Maybe not ideal for:

• Very simple businesses with only a few common questions
• When you need exact control over every word
